Rydal Communications are delighted to announce that we have been crowned the “Best Partner of the Year” at the Ericsson LG Enterprise Global conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Our Managing Director, Steffan Dancy, attended the event and was delighted to be called on to the stage for the award. This was presented by the CEO of Ericsson LG in recognition for our growth, customer service and deliverability of the Ericsson LG brand across both their on premise and cloud based phone systems.

The Gala Dinner was an evening packed full of fun, laughter and experience as we were mixing with globes top Global partners. The nights ‘fancy dress’ theme was “Croatian check” and Steffan attended, in true fashion, wearing the Croatian national football kit. If you see some photos of him wearing the kit collecting the award hopefully this explains the non professional attire.

The conference, which lasted 4 days, also gave us a great insight into Ericsson-LGs roadmap and looks extremely encouraging for both the on-premise & cloud based phone systems.  A revamp of the mobile & desktop applications interface is on the horizon, new ‘sexy’ prototype hardware was on show, discussions were had around the development key on premise applications for the cloud platform, this will really make the product hard to beat in the UK market. One key bit of news we were delighted to hear was the potential for open API’s, thus allowing us to help our clients fully integrate further with bespoke applications and in turn develop our own to help our clients.

All in all, a really successful conference and Its our aim to try and push for this title again next year.
